For Mens singles, Mens & Womens doubles there are qualifying rounds. Seeded players enter only in the Main Draw where they play the winners from the qualifying rounds.

Please take note of the deadlines indicated in the rules above, so please be proactive about organising your matches and make sure they are completed by the deadline. Do not assume someone else will do the organising!
All matches are best of 3 sets, with a 7 point tie-break at 6-6

Jim and Marjorie Denman Mixed tournament 2026 (Click for previous winners)
,The Mixed Doubles tournament was played on 17th May, (earlier than usual this year!) organised by Tony Denman. This is the 32nd year of the tournament!.
The weather was good and everyone competed in a friendly but competitive atmosphere. After 6 rounds the semi-finalists were: Andy P, Woodsie, Matt P, Sally, Barney, Dinah, John, Kirsty
All the games were close with Andy, Woodsie, Matt & Sally winning through to the final which was even closer with Matt & Woodsie being successful. It was lovely to see 2 new winners on the trophies.
Thanks to Mick for keeping the score ticking along and Yvette for the delicious cakes.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
Jack Ellis Mens tournament 2026 (Click for previous winners).
Played on 14th June organised by Pennie. A lovely afternoon's tennis in the sunshine for this year's Jack Ellis, as 16 men competed across 4 rounds. It was great to watch, lots of fantastic points and all played in great spirits.
Congratulations to joint winners Anthony John and Simon Creamer.
Joint second place went to Roland and Barney.
